Incredibly depressed. And the only person who can help doesn’t even care.
“It’s nice to know that you were there
Thanks for acting like you cared
And making me feel like I was the only one
It’s nice to know we had it all…”
Per the request of a friend, I have decided to stop being lazy and actually write on the blog again, after much downtime adjusting to school and whatnot. Excuses, excuses, I know.
Anyways, it’s been a pretty good year so far, and I think everyone’s having a good time in eighth grade. Or seventh grade. Or as a sixty four year old rich white man if you’re that type of **cough** creepy stalker **cough** person who has nothing better to do than read random blogs. Just throwing it out there…
I’m not even sure if people still read this, but I guess it helps to put as a signature in emails, just as a reminder. Everyone has a lot on their minds these days, I guess. The holidays are fast-approaching; next Thursday’s Thanksgiving!! Can’t believe it….I miss summer and all my camp friends. =_( It’s just too cold to do anything these days. Five months til spring, though [sigh].
Well I don’t have anything much more interesting to say, so yea. Haha a friend and I had a conversation about that, how people get into the habit of ending their sentences with “…so, yea.” when they have nothing better to say.
So, yea.
Cheers!

It’s Wednesday and it already feels like the week’s been endless. Tiring, rather…good luck to all of you who will be going to Youth Orchestra tonight! Hope it goes well for you. There’s not really much to say, but I can’t think of anything better to do with my time, so I guess you’ll just have to read this post.
Cheers,
Lily
First day of Concert Orchestra went well, except for the fact that we were missing a lot of people! But it’s grown to an enormous size – almost fifty kids altogether. There are twenty five-some violins, many of them hailing from Elm City Chamberfest, I’m happy to say. We hope you guys who moved up to Youth will enjoy it as much as you did the Concert, of course.
Congrats to Winnie for making it to Concertmistress, in addition to Bonnie, Kate, and Helen as principals. No doubt it’ll be different this year, but still a ton of fun.
Oh, and just to let you know, comments are much appreciated! Thanks!
Peace,
Lily
All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go
I’m standin’ here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin’, it’s early morn
The taxi’s waitin’, he’s blowin’ his horn
Already I’m so lonesome I could die
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you’ll wait for me
Hold me like you’ll never let me go
‘Cause I’m leaving on a jet plane
I don’t know when I’ll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go
I’m …
There’s so many times I’ve let you down
So many times I’ve played around
I’ll tell you now, they don’t mean a thing
Every place I go, I think of you
Every song I sing, I sing for you
When I come back I’ll wear your wedding ring
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you’ll wait for me
Hold me like you’ll never let me go
‘Cause I’m leaving on a jet plane
I don’t know when I’ll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go
Now the time has come to leave you
One more time, oh, let me kiss you
And close your eyes and I’ll be on my way
Dream about the days to come
When I won’t have to leave alone
About the times that I won’t have to say …
Oh, kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you’ll wait for me
Hold me like you’ll never let me go
‘Cause I’m leaving on a jet plane
I don’t know when I’ll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go
And I’m leaving on a jet plane
I don’t know when I’ll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go
